What I am offering is not available anywhere else! I am a professional performing oboist and a professional reedmaker. I have over two decades of experience teaching at all levels, and working with oboists brings me JOY.  I’d love to help YOU move to the next level of comfort and ease on the instrument.  

I’ve learned that most people approach the oboe armed for battle. I’d love to help you move forward collaboratively with it, instead!  

During this Three Day Virtual Intensive, you’ll get plenty of concrete information. We’ll talk about FUNDAMENTALS of oboe playing, like AIR and ARTICULATION. You’ll be able to apply the skills, in real time, and try them out on your oboe safely behind your mute button. We’ll analyze and adjust your ACTUAL reeds, we’ll play some duets (huh? HOW? Wait and see!) 

We’ll also have a lot of fun getting to know each other. Geography is always a problem for oboists, and it’s rare to have a roomful of them - but not on Zoom! We can laugh, cry, and commiserate together, and we can make each other better in community!  

I’ll be sharing some of the exact same trainings I offer in my three month program, The invincible Oboist, but at a fraction of the cost and over a single weekend.
